About
Public Health Hackathon is an event where scientists, programmers, and data analysts come together to collaborate and solve challenging problems in Public Health. During the hackathon, participants will work in teams to develop innovative solutions to complex problems using computational and data-driven approaches.

Past events

The organizers have a proven track record of successfully hosting several hackathons, summer schools, educational programs, online courses, and other events over the course of the past decade.

Organizers

  • IBRE is an early-stage international startup that aims to connect researchers, students, and professionals in the field of bioinformatics. The IBRE team has a successful track record, previously founding and developing for 10 years the renowned Bioinformatics Institute before relocating to Serbia, USA, and Armenia, and founding IBRE.
  • The Kazakhstan Sociology Lab, established by the El Umiti Foundation in 2023, is an educational and research center dedicated to fostering expertise in social sciences and advancing evidence-based policymaking. The lab focuses on three primary areas: organizing the "Sociology School" project to engage and educate participants, conducting research on topics related to education, employment, social policy, public health, and contributing to public discourse by actively communicating findings from social science research as public intellectuals. These initiatives aim to bridge academic knowledge and evidence-based policy approach.
